Times:​ Year 5 Girls | 09:30

    Year 5 Boys | 09:55

    Year 6 Girls | 10:20

    Year 6 Boys | 10:45​​​

Race instructions will be given at the start of every race.​

​

The Course - Myton Fields

The course is run around the field,  and is flat. It may be that the ground is very muddy due to it being close to the river. There will be always marshals at various points along the river to keep runners safe.​​

No Spikes

Spikes are not permitted for any runner.  Anyone wearing spikes will be asked to change footwear. If there is no alternative footwear, their result will be listed as Did Not Start. Football boots/studs are permitted.

Arrival Time 

If anyone wishes to walk the course beforehand, we advise they arrive 45-60 minutes before the start of the first race or follow that tail runner of the previous race. If you do not wish to walk the course beforehand, we advise you to arrive 25-30 minutes before the start of your race.

Race Etiquette

No pushing or shoving is permitted whilst running and runners may be reported if deemed to have deliberately obstructed another runner from passing them. This may result in the disqualification of a runner.​​

Medals & Team Results

Medals are awarded to each age and gender directly after each race. The top three finishers will be presented on a podium. School team results will be announced directly after each race.

Spare Kit

Spare Kit - as there is a brook to run through at the end of the course, we strongly recommend children bring spare shoes or a towel as well as an extra kit/hoody.

Spectators

We ask that spectators abide by any instructions given by marshals for their safety and that of the runners. We also ask that all spectators and teachers do not crowd the finishing gazebo.

Refreshments 

We will be providing a coffe van with refreshments.

​

First Aid

First aid is available by staff at the finishing gazebo.​

 

Toilets

One toilet will be on site at the  car park entrance to Myton fields, by the Myton Road.
